She's Here!!!

Brynnli Allison Tolbert, has finally joined us. The Doctor showed up at 8:00 AM to check on Allison and Brynnli was born at 8:07 AM on Feb. 7. She weighed 7lb 13oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. Everything went wonderful and we are still in the recovery room for the next night or two. Since the hospital has internet we wanted to post some of our pics.

Just the Three of us before
leaving for hospital.

Introducing Carson to his new Sister!

How Pretty!

Daddy loves his little Girl!

Carson could not get enough of Brynnli.

A Happy Family of Four!

We've noticed some similarities between
Carson and Brynnli as babies.

While we wait.....

My house is cleaned, the laundry is done, my clothes are all too small, and I am ready to have this baby. The problem is, apparently she is not ready to come out yet:) Yes, as you may have guessed, we are still waiting on our little girl to make her way out. She still has one more day to get out on time, but after that we may have to start some pep talks etc. I went to the doctor last Thursday and was 3 cm dilated, I guess a good sign, and yet, we wait......

While we wait I will blog some pictures I have been meaning to post anyways.

This weekend Carson and I and his grandparents went to a family birthday party. Carson had a blast!!

He wore Mickey ears (for two seconds)

And he got to play in a bounce house, which he LOVED!!!!!
For obvious reasons, no one wanted me in the bounce house, so Grandpa got to tag along while I watched....
And Carson ate all my birthday cake!!!!

He was so cute bouncing with the other two girls his age!!

And two weeks ago I had a back to back baby shower weekend. Friday night my friend Kimberly threw me an awesome shower at her house with mostly people from church. She did a great job, I especially liked that she had all purple treats!!!! Here's some pictures and a link from the shower, it was soo fun!!

Who knew that you can get lingerie at a baby shower? (Okay, it's a nursing bra... which I am so excited about:)

Then Saturday afternoon my mother in law hosted another shower mostly for family and family friends at her house which also turned out to be a blast!! Carson had fun running around getting attention, and our little girl got all kinds of clothes!! What a spoiled girl just like her big brother!!
This is the only picture I have from that one so far, sorry!!!
Hopefully we'll have some good news for you soon!!

Birthdays, Camping, Etc.

Happy Belated Birthday to Rick!!!
(Don't worry I remembered yesterday, just didn't have time to blog...)

Rick turned the big 2-8 yesterday and we had a fun day celebrating as a family. Carson and I cooked him breakfast and let him sleep in, and then we opened presents, went to church, and then we cooked dinner here and had his parents over. Carson had a great time helping Rick open his presents (he calls them "Christmas")
I made Rick a quilt for his birthday with peices of lots of his old shirts, etc. Rick and Carson had fun hiding underneath it:)

Carson is developing his own style..... maybe mom's shoes might have to go.....

Since I am such a pathetic blogger, I am blogging these pictures of our last hurrah as a threesome a week late:) Rick and I decided to take Carson camping at a campsite about five minutes from our house. We loaded up our car with a tent and plenty of food etc. and headed off. It was sooo much fun!! Carson had a blast playing at the park, cooking hot dogs over the fire, sleeping in the tent in a sleeping bag with mom and dad, and fishing the next morning with daddy. The only not so amazing part was that the ground was a little hard for my 8 plus month prego self, but it was well worth it, great family bonding!!

Carson thought the tent was the coolest thing ever:)
He helped his dad collect some wood for the fire, we cooked breakfast over the fire in the morning, and had some s'mores.....mmm yummy!!!

Our trip to Boise

Okay I am officially the worst blogger ever! I am just now finally posting some pictures of our trip to Boise for Christmas, how sad! Expect it to get worse though in a couple weeks!!! Anyways, we had a great time with everyone (minus Rick) and had fun in the cold weather and snow. Here's some pictures:

We went bowling on New Years Eve, it was fun, even the babies mostly had a good time. Carson and I used the little kid way of bowling and rolled the ball on the floor, I didn't want to risk going into labor far from home and without Rick:)

Grandpa and the two grandkids:)
My mom and Carson bonded over a common hobby, cleaning:)

My little brother is 16 and had his eagle court of honor while we were there, I was very impressed with his speech!! What a big kid!
My brother in law Chris had his birthday while we were there, so we went out to breakfast to celebrate and I decorated this cake for him, I am still designated the family cake decorator:)

Carson had sooo much fun with Kate while we were there, he always wanted to know where she was, and he was usually pretty good with her, occasionally his friendliness was a little too aggressive and would scare her......

Carson was sick the whole trip mostly, and was not in the best mood most of the time, unfortunately, but he did have his moments of cuteness, mostly at night before bedtime:)

This sledding trip didn't quite turn out as Jenny and I had planned for the kids.... we had fun though:) Poor Chris though, he had to pull his 8 month pregnant sister in law around on the sled, thanks Chris!!!

Jenny was sooo excited to build a snowman, Carson loved to look at him too and was very concerned when he started melting...I'll post more pictures soon.....

Ho, Ho, Ho

We went with our friends Matt and Crystal to have the kids sit on Santa's lap at the mall. Both of their kids sat nicely and looked adorable!! We hoped maybe since Carson was a year older this year that we wouldn't end up on Santa's lap again with him for the second year, but..... well we did. Maybe next year!! Poor Santa looked a little nervous when he saw me, very pregnant say that I was going to sit on his lap.... much to his relief I sat next to him instead:)

Our Trip to Utah

We flew out to Utah for my cousin Elise's wedding and got to see a ton of my family that Rick and Carson had never met, it was really fun!! We stayed a couple of extra days to hangout on campus at BYU, and spend time with my sister Nicole and some of our friends from our college days. It even snowed while we were there!! It was so fun to see everyone!!! Anyways, here's the pictures!!!
