Seven Year Itch

In honor of our seven year anniversary this year we decided we deserved a cruise ALONE! I am finally not pregnant or nursing.... so now is a perfect time. So, we dropped the kids off at their grandparents (Rick's parents) and headed out for a five day cruise! I am not going to lie, I cried like a baby all the way to the ship after we dropped the kids off.... however, once I got on the boat, I managed to get over it:). Rick did make a comment as I was bawling like a lunatic that it was exactly seven years earlier after our wedding that I cried the whole way to our hotel also..... I'm glad he didn't try and give me back. This was seriously, the best time ever!!!It just so happened that our cruise stopped in Nassau, Bahamas where we spent our honeymoon at Atlantis, which was cool. We took the ferry over there and might have snuck into their pools and beach......Seven years ago.....Now........ And then of course when we stopped in Key west and finally got cell reception, we had to check on the kids, who barely noticed we were gone

We went snorkeling and jet skiing in Coco Cay which was sooo fun, I was slightly terrified on the jet ski...
It was the best, we stayed out dancing late, went to shows, ate and actually enjoyed our food, slept in, lounged on the beach and actually got to talk to eachother! I can't wait to do another one, hopefully before seven more years!
Our family reunited:) Carson was upset because we got home after the garbage truck had just come, he wanted to play with the garbage cans instead of talking to us.... we are so loved. The kids had a blast with the Tolberts... Carson was apparently obsessed with filling their garbage cans up with tree limbs (do you think he's obsessed much?)
Rick and I made these little cards for the kids to open each day while we were gone with stickers and pictures in them......... We missed our little sweeties, but boy was it nice to get a break!!! Thanks Rick for making me go, and thanks Tolberts for taking such good care of our munchkins!

Lobstering in the Keys

Just trying to catchup on my blogging.... Here's the pics from our fun camping and lobstering week in the keys, we camped in a trailor, so it wasn't hard core camping.... Rick pretty much lobstered all day long with his dad and his mom and I played with the kids, mostly swimming:) It was a blast!

One night we took the kids down to Key West for the sunset celebration, which is so fun, there are just tons of street performers which the kids loved! Carson has been practicing ever since then for his act. He stands on top of a stool yelling "ladies and gentlemen... come to my show"

Boys/Girls Night out

It was once again time for the monster jam monster truck show that Rick and Carson went to last year, except this year we invited our new friends along. They just moved in this summer and happen to have kids the same ages and gender as us. It has been great. So, the boys did their thing at the Monster truck show.............

And we decided to take the girls to get pedicures. We figured it could go two ways, good or bad, luckily for us it was super fun. Brynnli was so excited to put her feet in the water and kept holding her feet up waiting for her turnWe brought the girls some chocolate too, which helped, what girl doesn't like chocolate and pedicures? Then we took them to the mall, where they had a blast playing together.........
And Brynnli shopped for some new underwear at American Eagle.... I parked her stroller right next to a bin of underwear, I turned around and she had one pair on her head, too funny!!
It was a fun night!

Hanging out on the boat.....

We had a fun weekend and got to hangout on the boat with Rick's parents. We went lobstering for a little while, tried to fish, and then hit up a sandbar in the middle of the ocean, my new favorite thing to do on the boat:) The kids loved it!

The kids passed out on the way to the sandbar and we put them to sleep and had fun in the water for awhile. They were so cute though! Brynnli was hilarious and passed out everytime the boat started moving:)
