Disneyworld

When I say that we had a good time at Disney, it is an understatement, it was seriously so fun! The kids were so cute and we had just as good of a time as they did! The only bad part was the 35 degree weather, which wasn't really that bad, it was kinda fun to dress up in warm clothes in Florida, it actually felt like winter!!

We went to Magic Kingdom on Rick's Birthday and he got in free!

The highlight of the trip for Carson was meeting Captain hook, he is obsessed with the movie Peter Pan, we were impressed that Carson actually sat on his lap and was friendlier than normalI don't get it, he won't sit on Santa's lap, but a mean pirate with a hook is okay?
Of course Carson had to get a hook of his own
We watched the fireworks at Disney which were amazing to say the least, notice how we are all bundled up? Carson looked like an umpa loompa in my sweatshirt, which I desperately missed....Animal kingdom was awesome too, meeting more characters, Brynnli wasn't quite as friendly as Carson.Anyways, it was a great trip, the kids loved the rides, characters, and especially the parades. If these few pics weren't enough for you, checkout the slideshow of all our pictures. I also want to say a special Happy Birthday to Rick, who didn't get quite as much special attention as he deserved on his birthday, but it was definately a fun day! Thanks to the Tolberts (senior) for the trip, it was a blast!

A little of everything

I just wanted to post some pictures of the random stuff we've been doing lately.
We finally got together with our best friends the Wernlis the other night, we hadn't seen them in over a month because of vacations etc. The kids were pretty good and cute most of the night.

This is how Carson smiles when I tell him to smile, kinda scary huh?

The little girls fit better together in the car, this was the only picture I got of both sort of looking
We went to visit Rick's friend Jonathan whose mom makes some yummy carrot cake, here's Rick and Brynnli sharing it in the kitchen, Brynnli can be quite the chow hound Us at Jonathan's house on the beach

Brynnli's hair on top is long enough for a little braid, so this was the day of the braid, which you can't even see in this picture, but hey she's smiling

We took the kids to the circus, which was so fun! Carson was equally excited about the treats and the circus.......

I know you are all jealous of my cool circus hat

My cousin Elise and her husband came into town to leave on a cruise, it was great to catch up with them, and exciting for us since no one ever comes to visit us here (sniff...)

We are taking the kids to Disneyworld for the first time this week, so stay tuned for tons of pictures from that!

Our random day......

I can't believe that my little baby is eleven months old today! (Well yesterday)I have been meaning to post a blog for a few weeks now of Brynnli walking (per a few requests), which she started around the time we left for our cruise, so here it is. She is actually getting pretty fast at it.

We were kinda trying to get a bunch of stuff around the house done today, so we kept telling Carson that if he was a good boy and helped us that we would setup the bounce house OUTSIDE in the yard after his nap. Unfortunately once he wokeup it was windy and rainy out and we felt really bad. The garage is the next alternative place to put it, but our Christmas decor etc. is all over waiting to be put away, so here's where it ended up..... in our living room. It was pretty funny.

So at the grocery store the other day I bought ice cream cones, we've never gotten them before, but Carson and Brynnli were obsessed with eating them on the cruise, so I thought it would be a fun treat some night. So I hyped it to Rick all day, he was excited about it, and imagine my surprise when I open the package and the cones are the size of a small dixie cup, they seriously held like one tablespoon of ice cream, perfect for the kids really, but a little disappointing to us adults. Here's Rick with his ice cream shot, this is the whole cone. I'm sure we'll be eating a few more later.

Our Christmas Cruise

Over Christmas Rick's parents took us as our gift on a family cruise to the Eastern Carribbean. We went with them and Rick's sister Trisha and her husband Dave's famiy. It was so much fun! We definately ate way too much, but it was well worth it!

So I was so overwhelmed with all the pictures we had I just decided to make a slide show (thanks Jenny). Hope you have as much fun watching as we did on the cruise!

Here's a few of the highlights in case you don't care about watching the whole long slideshow.... (which is at the end of the pictures)
