San Fransisco: Day 4

So, for our last day all together we decided we would take a little drive to the beach, which had an amusement park attached to the boarwalk, it was soooo fun!!! The beach of course was a little cold for us Florida people, so there really wasn't any swimming, but it felt great!!!!

Carson loves his Aunt Jenny, or "ja..ja.."

What a good aunt!!!

Did I mention Kate is the cutest? What a smiler!!!

No, Carson is not taking the picture......

Carson had fun building this enormous sand castle.... (okay, not really, he was just ruining one that had been previously built)

Then the games began!!! The whole group, minus me, Carson and my mom and Kate went on a big roller coaster and another fun adult ride

Later on at the end of the night the three of us went on the ferris wheel, I'm not sure what Carson thought, he was very serious the whole ride, but then again it was 9:30 California time, which meant it was after midnight Florida time!!!

An uncle times two at the age of 15!!! What fun!!
While the grownups went on the big kid rides, mom and I took the babies on the train!!! The funny part was that the train operator wouldn't let my mom hold six month old kate in her lap during the ride, she had to sit next to her because it was "safer...."
Dad was like a little kid in a candy store the whole night, what a daredevil!!!

Rick was jealous that I got to take Carson on a kiddie ride, so they went on the dragon!!
On the way home our car, consisting of me, Rick, Nicole, Ryan and sleeping Carson decided to make an eleven o'clock In and Out run, mom thought we were crazy, and rightfully so since they were leaving bright and early the next morning for an eleven hour drive home!!!

San Fransisco: Day 3

Okay, so apparently I"m not good at this blogging thing, I downloaded the pictures in reverse order for this day, so nighttime is first, morning last, oops!!!!

Anyways, we ventured into the city of San Fran on day three and ended it up at Pier 39 Hard Rock for dinner where we met my cousin Kristina and her husband Kevin for dinner, it was so great to see them and even better because Rick and my mom were awesome at watching Carson for me so I could chat!!!!

After Alcatraz we hiked (yes those streets there can be pretty steep, especially for a preggie girl such as myself....) to Ghieridelli Square for sundaes, which were way worth the hike!!!

Carson was most excited about our leftover hot fudge at the bottom of our cup, that kept him busy for awhile while we recovered from the walk:)

We posed next to the trolley, didn't have time to ride one, maybe next time!

Carson loved the sea lions and was imitating them and barking, which was hilarious!!

Touring Alcatraz was so amazing, the ferry ride over was beautiful, and the tour was very interesting, definately Rick's favorite part of the trip, he loved it!!! Carson and Kate were very good also, they both passed out toward the end of the tour.

The first part of the day we went to the Golden Gate, which was pretty much not even visible until we got up really close, very crazy!!! We walked it though, or some of it, and had all kinds of fun on the way back violating every traffic law known to mankind (on accident of course....)

Day 2: Oakland Temple

We were having so much fun taking pictures of the kids, and they were having fun too until Carson tried to get a little too cuddly with Kate and she was done!!!

What a beautiful temple!! Rick was having the time of his life wandering around taking tons of pictures!!!!

Day 1- Muir Woods

I am finally blogging our trip, mostly because my sister has made some disparaging remarks about my lack of blogs.... I am trying to do better:)

Our first day in San Fran we drove and took a little bus, which Carson loved up to a beautiful area where there are lots of tall Redwood trees. It was gorgeous!!! We had fun hiking around, getting stalked by a random homeless man, and trying to entertain the kids.

After our fun day at Muir woods we (well Rick) had a mini reunion with some of his friends from freshman year at BYU. Jen and Tyson (left) and their twins happen to be friends of my sister and Chris in their ward there (small world). Ben traveled from Sacramento to see us, what a great time!!!
