Shakin it

Brynnli thinks everyday is dance class, even though it's only once a week. She wears her dance clothes pretty much everyday to take Carson to school, she's hilarious. Her dance teacher had asked if we'd practice some steps with them at home so today when I dropped Carson off at preschool I asked Brynnli what she wanted to do and if she wanted to practice tap and ballet.....she thought for a sec and said "No mom, I want to shake it." I was curious what she meant so I got home and put on the music and let her go crazy....watch to see, it was really cute.

Living the Life

This is what my kitchen counter looks like tonight. I would put the medicines away, but it's too hard to get them out every few hours, especially with one hand (Cole has claimed my other one). Thank you preschool for all the germs. The last week and a half or so has been consumed by this. We even had to visit the ER. Is it even flu season yet? I think not. Not good news for us. Lucky for Rick, he got to escape the madness two weekends in a row by going to some football games. I won't pretend I was a saint and didn't complain a little......but I'm glad he had fun.

We didn't do much while he was gone, because we are a walking circus, but we did watch the game and try to support our teams. I bought the kids matching shirts, but once again, Brynnli refused to wear hers. She is forever a princess.
My boys

Hopefully I will be able to clean off my counter soon!!

Sweet Cole

I can't believe my little baby is one month old. He is so fun. He LOVES to eat....in fact I'm pretty sure he may be my one shot at having a chubby baby. He just started smiling today, and he has a cute little dimple on his left cheek that I love. He won't take a pacifier so far (any suggestions?) He isn't sleeping a bunch yet, but someday.
As I hold him I can't help but think that this might be my last baby. It might be the last time I hear those cute little baby noises and smell that cute baby smell.....and it might be the last time I spend 20 out of 24 hours nursing:) or literally running out of the store (last night I tried to take him shopping and left after twenty minutes) because my baby is screaming balistically. But who knows? We love the little guy and are enjoying him as much as is possible.Happy one month birthday little guy!
And to make it even, I had to add this picture of Brynnli from her second day of ballet/tap class. She is such the princess. Perfect for our only girl. She asked me every morning this week if it was dance class day. What a girl.

Super Star

You know how before you have kids you always say stuff like, "when I have kids I will NEVER do that..." and then after you actually have kids most of those things happen...

Well, before I had kids and even until recently, I would get annoyed at parents who would brag obnoxiously about their kids achievements or whatever....and now I guess I am going to be one of them. I'm just really proud of Carson....he got picked for Star Student the first week they did it at school (I know it's just preschool....but I'm a proud mommy) The ladies at his school are in love with him.... when I go into the school I keep having these random teachers come up to me saying, "oh, you are Carson's mom?" I've officially lost my identity.

The funniest part really was the questionnaire they sent home for us to fill out....
My favorite question: What do you want to be when you growup? Carson's answer: a garbageman....well actually a recycleman. (with no hesitation.....) We are so proud.
