The end of the trip

Our family is getting so big! Weird how time flies and we all get so much older!! How cute are they? They both tried so hard to get this gate down, what a team!
I think it took like ten shots to get them all sitting down together!

Brynnli was so excited that so many people wanted to hold her!
Chris had her smiling so big the last night we were there, what a great uncle!

Aunt Jenny took her turn playing and making Brynnli laugh, what a lucky kid!In case I haven't mentioned it on this blog before, Carson is majorly obsessed with airplanes, which must be genetic because so is my dad. Carson loves "Grandpa with the airplane" as he calls him and loved to fly Grandpa's radio controlled airplane with him while we were there. My parents were so nice and let all or most of us sleep in most days while they played with the kids. It was soooo amazing.
And of course, no trip is complete without playing Settlers of Catan. The boys were obsessed, we joined in for a couple games too.
We were so thankful that Carson was so friendly to everyone this trip. At Christmas he was not friendly at all and it made it tough. He LOVED everyone this time and it was so cute to see him have so much fun with all his aunts, uncles, grandparents, and cousins.
Here's the Heyman family, Chris, Jenny, and Kate, what a cute family!!
We miss you all and can't wait until our next visit!!

Rafting

We decided to take advantage of one of the fun things Boise has to offer this summer and go white water rafting. I must admit that Rick was the one pushing it, and I was rather nervous, I am not necessarily adventurous by any means. So we went and it was a blast! My mom stayed home with Carson, Brynnli, and Kate, bless her heart, and had quite the time herself! Thanks mom!
One of the fun things to do is to "ride bull" by sitting on the front of the raft when it goes through the rapids. I sucked it up and was the first one to do it, it was really exhilerating!

We all got a turn to do it!

Chris and Rick went together, the two of them and Ryan were at eachother the whole time throwing eachother in the cold water, along with the rest of us occasionally. It really was a good time. Three days after we got to Boise (before our family rafting trip) Rick went with my brother Ryan on a three day High adventure trip with the Boys Scouts and our church. They had a great time and got to do some rafting that was a little more adventurous and in some VERY cold water I"m told. Rick was so excited that he got to go with Ryan. He has been trying to go on our high adventure trip with our ward here and has even planned a couple, but hasn't been able to get off of work. This worked out perfectly!

My brother is so fun, we loved spending time with him this trip, and Rick especially had a great time with him, what a great kid.
As you can see, they are wearing helmets, and we are not above on our family trip, so this was a little more hard core:) I"m glad they got it out of their systems so we could do the less hard core trip as a family.

Boise Trip Part 3

I am mainly blogging all these pictures for my family to see, so if you are already bored with our vacation, give me a few days to have something else to blog about...
We had fun in Boise doing all kinds of fun things....
A trip to Boise isn't complete without a little shopping! We even convinced the boys to come with us! (Minus my bro in law Chris who wasn't there yet)

Carson and Kate had fun playing on the rides while we watched and shopped We hit up Costa Vida (a Cafe Rio like place) for dinner, it was VERY good and made us miss our Provo days and Cafe Rio
Me and my sisters at Costa Vida
Grandpa entertaining Brynnli who was done watching us all eat:)

And then of course we did the baby pool again once Kate got there, she had so much fun!
Nicole and Kate, our two strawberry blondies
Jenny and Kate

We took the kids to this little water park by my parents house to play, they had a ton of fun, but liked the park part better almost than the water part, which was fine except it was HOT!!

Carson and Kate had a 50/50 relationship on this vacation. Half of the time they played and had fun together, and the other half Carson followed Kate around tormenting her. Poor girl!A favorite passtime of Brynnli's was laying on the floor kicking around squawkling

We had fun in my parents backyard watching the kids run around

The kids loved hanging out with Grandma on this bench
What a cutie!!

Boise Part 2

We were so excited we got to be there for my sister Nicole's 20th birthday! We went to Tony Romas to celebrate and it was so yummy!

Her birthday was actually on Sunday so after church we had to take lots of pictures! Some of us went to four hours of church that day because we went to my dad's ward too, he is the branch president of the singles ward there.

My sister Nicole is so beautiful, inside and out, I am so proud of her.
I got to decorate her bday cake, I love doing that! We had a couple days before my other sister Jenny got there with Kate so Carson had fun doing all kinds of things...
Watering Grandma's flowers

Playing in the baby pool

We got to go to FHE with my dad's singles ward, which was water skiing at the lake. Carson had a blast with my dad on the dock watching the boats.

Our Vacation to Boise

So we just got back from an almost two week long vacation to Boise to visit my family, which was so fun!! We are exhausted and I am trying to post some of the fun pictures from our visit! It will probably take a couple days to get em all in, but here's them from the beginning.

We left Florida and stopped twice on our way to Boise (two layovers that is) with a total of eight hours actually on the plane and 12 hours total from start of the day flying until the end. It was a LONG day. It didn't actually go quite as well as we planned. Our DVD player decided not to work, we almost missed our connecting flight, both Rick and I had cups of juice spilled on us, one of our planes was too small to carry on anything big which meant all the kids toys except a few were checked below for the three hour flight, and to top it all off, Brynnli was sick with a massive cold. However, the kids were actually really good on the flight!

To get to our small airplane we go to walk outside and walk up the stairs to get on, Carson thought that was soo cool!It was Brynnli's first flight, and sick and all she was a champ!! She slept most of the time.
We had so much carry on luggage (due to the new rules about only checking on bag each without paying...) that Carson had to help us carry it through the airport (not really, but he looked really cute helping us) He actually drug this suitcase from one terminal to another, what a good helper!
It was so nice to have a seat for Carson, despite the steep price we paid for it! It gave us all a little more room. It was definately an improvement over Christmas when I flew alone eight months prego with Carson on my lap!

Once we got to Boise Brynnli got to meet all kinds of people for the first time!

She just lit up whenever Grandmpa looked at her!!!
She loved Grandma too, even though she isn't smiling right here....Nicky and Ryan were a big hit with Brynnli and CArson!
We found a baby picture of my brother Ryan that looks very similar to Brynnli, I'll have to post it sometime. I can see it here, especially the hair:) Just kidding Ryan!
