Happy 1st Birthday Brynnli!

Yesterday was our little Brynnli's first birthday. I really still can't believe how fast the last year went by, it is very sad how fast her and Carson are growing up. In any case, we had a fun day with her. We wokeup and opened presents from us, and made her Mickey mouse pancakes.

Carson helped her open her presents and acted just as excited about all of them
We took the kids to the zoo and they both had fun running around, feeding the giraffes (actually Brynnli was afraid of them), and playing at the park. They both love being outside. After the zoo both kids crashed and Rick and I got ready for the small birthday party we had. We had our friends the Wernlis and their two girls, along with our friends the Dangerfields and their two kids, and then Grandma and Grandpa Tolbert came towards the end. The kids played outside most of the time in the backyard on our playfort and in the bounce house. Brynnli was thrilled to be outside in her birthday outfit.
She was definately less excited about the birthday cake than I thought she'd be. She can definately eat, but she wasn't all about the cake. She got a little more excited later about a cupcake than about this giant cupcake cake I made her.

Happy Birthday Brynnli, we love you!!

Here's a little slideshow for those who like that kind of stuff....
