Isn't it every 28 year old's dream to spend their birthday at Disneyworld? Actually, yes, I wouldn't have wanted to have been anywhere else this year than with Rick and the kids at Disney (ok, maybe Hawaii.....or with my whole family in Boise) We have really taken advantage of the getting in free on your birthday thing this year!
I want to apologize ahead of time for all the pictures, I realized halfway in I should've just done a slideshow, but oh well!
The kids LOVED the characters, but in totally different ways. Carson LOVED everything about them, seeing them, hugging them, etc. Brynnli loved the characters and waved and smiled.... until she actually got near them, then she clung to me for dear life! This is why, even though we finally have one child who will sit with the characters, we are still in most of the pictures.
Brynnli carried her lego creation all over the place with her, she was very proud of it and even made a run for it with it.Carson loved Mickey, and for some reason became obsessed with Buzz lightyear while we were at Disney (even though he has only seen Toy story once...and hated the Buzz ride) and sent us on a wild chase for a Buzz Lightyear toy. All the ones at Disney were too lame or advanced for him, so we are still combing the local toy stores.... While Brynnli was napping Rick and I took turns taking Carson on the "big kid" rides that Brynnli couldn't go on. Carson and I flew in an airplane roller coaster, which Carson loved
But not as much as he loved driving a racecar with daddy. He was soo excited, I was in the perfect spot to take a picture until I realized Rick had the camera, so Rick took this one of himself:)
When we were at Disney last time we stole a secret from a family in front of us in line who had brought lollipops for their kids to eat while they waited in line for the rides, so here's our kids waiting in line with their lollipops. On a side note, the longest we waited was maybe 20 minutes thanks to my birthday fastpass!!
Brynnli's favorite spot was the park and splash area where she got totally soaked, and so did her lollipop! Carson was more careful, but thankfully I had a few changes of clothes for her!

i think that is so awesome you are milking the free disney birthday thing. brynnli sounds like kate with the characters, must be the age. i'm glad you had a fun birthday! you look great!
Happy Birthday!!! What a fun way to celebrate, I can't remember the last time I did anything really fun for my birthday. Your kids are so stinkin' cute:) And I agree with your sis, you look amazing
The pics are sooo cute!! Sometimes I think Carson looks like Joel, but only sometimes, like the one of him and Rick in the racecar. Also, Target has good Buzz Lightyear toys, Bryce got one from his auntie and uncle for Christmas a few years ago, but they sell pretty much the same thing still.
OH my word, that comment from Carson about Jesus leaving on a call was hilarious! What a fun Birthday! I'm one of those 20 something women that would love to spend the day there! Especially if it was warm enough to wear shorts.
