Cooking with Carson
Carson wants to be involved in EVERYTHING that we're doing lately, especially cooking. So today I let him help me make grilled cheese for lunch while Brynnli watched on from her bouncy seat... I am enjoying Carson growing up, he's such a fun kid!

Here's Brynnli doing what she does best, just being mellow and sweet, she was talking to us the whole time we were cooking, she probably wanted some. Yesterday somehow she talked Carson into feeding her a raisin, needless to say that didn't go over too well!

My excitements of the week so far...
My two most exciting things that have happened this week so far are:
1. Brynnli's hair is long enough for a small whale spout:) Carson's girlfriend Jada left a hair elastic over here last night and I used it in Brynnli's hair today, it was so fun!!
2. My birthday was on Monday and I had a fun day playing with my kids, getting a pedicure, and going on a date with my husband while the kids played at grandma/gpa Tolberts. We went to our favorite restaurant The Melting Pot, and it was sooo tasty!!

I had to come back after dinner and blow out candles with Carson, he is obsessed with birthdays, candles, and presents!! He did a great job of helping me blowout my 27 candles!! The funniest part of the day was when I was opening my presents and Carson kept hoping each one was an airplane because he is obsessed with them. He was so disappointed, luckily my sister Nicole's present had an airplane stamp on it, which we cut out and he carried around all day, what a funny kid!!
Okay, the whale spout continued.......
Carson wore these Mickey Mouse ears around all day today, maybe he was trying to give us a hint, Disneyworld???

Two Firsts
So, I know it is crazy for me to blog again today, but I had to. We had a very exciting Sunday today for us.
First of all, Rick was on duty today and has been gone almost two days, so I braved church alone today with the two kiddos, which can be quite the handful, especially since Carson refuses to go to the nursery (for those of you who don't know, our church has a little class that kids over the age of 18months can go to to play and eat snacks while their parents attend the other meetings of church). Last week Carson stayed in there for about a half hour alone while I taught my primary class and Rick taught the teenage boys in young mens, but today I dropped Carson off and he stayed the whole two hours!!!! Can we all say hallelujah? It was amazing!!!! What a big boy, he was so cute on the way home telling me all about what he did. After church we decided to drop by (okay a half hour drive or so) the fire station to visit daddy, we had a blast!!
So first number two was that it was Brynnli's first trip to the fire station, she was thrilled naturally:)

Carson really wanted the truck to go "out" of the station while we were there, so he figured he'd push it out, despite his effort the truck stayed right where it was. What a fun day!! And it was so nice to see Rick, 48 hours gets to be a long time, especially for Carson who keeps asking me "daddy home?"

We're Back!! Sort of....
I say sort of because I was never really a great blogger to begin with:) In any case, our computer is finally back from the doctor and I am ready to be able to use the internet again! How did we survive without it before? I actually used my phone book a couple times last week, I haven't done that in forever!
So here's what we've been up to lately..........
Brynnli is getting so fun, Carson and I have been trying to get her to play with toys with us.....sometimes Carson tries so hard he scares her though (hence her facial expression here)
We are loving being a family of four, our two kids are so fun and I love being a mom and feel so lucky to be at home with them all the time, what fun!!

A FEW MORE RANDOM PICS....
OUR BIGGEST PROBLEM LATELY IS THAT CARSON LOVES BRYNNLI A LITTLE TOO MUCH:) IT IS REALLY CUTE THOUGH TO WATCH HOW CONCERNED HE ALWAYS IS ABOUT "WIN-WEE" AS HE CALLS HER. BRYNNLI IS VERY PATIENT WITH HIM AND ALREADY VERY ENTERTAINED BY HIM, WHEN SHE IS AWAKE THAT IS, WHICH IS NOT THAT MUCH.

WE HAD A PHOTO SHOOT WHILE RICK'S SISTER TRISHA WAS HERE WITH KAITLYN, HERE'S THE GIRLS IN THEIR TWO MATCHING DRESSES, THE PHOTO SHOOT WAS ABOUT AS SUCCESSFUL AS OUR LAST ONE IN PRODUCING AMAZING PICTURES THOUGH....

Quick Update

I wanted to do a quick post in honor of Brynnli's 8 week birthday today, she is so big and cute:) Our computer is at the doctor as Carson likes to say, and has been very sick this month, so we have been awful at posting, sorry!! I am doing this post quickly from Rick's parent's computer in case anyone is dying to see some more recent pics of the kiddos....
We'll blog again soon, we hope!!!
