Road Trip

Carson was so lucky to get to go on vacation with his girlfriend, they had so much fun!




We got a little crazy this week and decided to go on a semi-last minute road trip to Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. We basically bummed along with our friends the Wernlis on their family vacation, it was a blast! The highlights of the trip included an eight hour car ride, days at the beach, all you can eat crab, and walks on the beach at sunset, it was great!!!

My Family Comes to Florida

Okay, I'm trying to be better about this posting pictures stuff, so here's the pictures from my family's trip out here. We wish that Jenny, Chris, and baby Kate could've been here, but stay tuned for our trip to see them in San Fran later this summer:)

Lounging by the pool

We had to buy Carson a baby pool for the backyard since all we can do here now is swim. I have to admit though, I think Rick and I might have enjoyed it more than Carson, although he LOVED it!!!

Chuck E. Cheese

On Friday we went with the Wernlis to Chuck E. Cheese for dinner since our trip to Disneyworld was cancelled due to the rain.... the kids and adults had a blast!!!

Week of fun

We had all kinds of fun last week!! On Thursday we went with Kim and Jada and our other friends Brittany and Riley to the Miami children's art museum, the kids had a blast, and I climbed my first rock wall (I felt confident since it was made for children....)

Rick's Graduation

Rick finally graduated from the Fire Academy at Metro-Dade Fire Department, it was the longest three months of our lives!!! Rick earned a new appreciation for the 7-4 work week five days a week!! Carson passed out during the two hour ceremony, thank goodness!!
